Volunteers transform an unused courtyard into a new community garden in Stratford

15 Aug Volunteers transform an unused courtyard into a new community garden in Stratford

Met Volunteer Police Cadets and Amber Court residents recently made the most of their time transforming an unused courtyard into a new community garden in Stratford, East London.

The work was part of the Royal Horticultural Society’s (RHS) Greening Grey Britain campaign, supported by M&G Investments.

More than 40 groups across the UK have received financial support and RHS advice this summer to turn previously unloved sites into vibrant community areas.

The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) who are the UK’s leading gardening charity dedicated to advancing horticulture and promoting good gardening have already received praise for the scheme.
