Shocking new figures reveal the true impact of hair loss on Essex men

07 Sep Shocking new figures reveal the true impact of hair loss on Essex men

Shocking new research has revealed the true impact of hair loss on men in East Anglia.

The study by Asda Pharmacy shows that nearly a quarter (23%) of men in East Anglia say hair loss has made them more self-conscious, whilst one in ten said it has caused them to feel depressed.

For many men symptoms of hair loss are an enormous emotional burden. One in ten East Anglian men affected admitted feeling unattractive (11%) and frustrated (12%). It can even effect love life, 14% feel they are held back, saying their hair loss makes them less confident when it comes to dating, whilst 5% have even experienced a loss of sex drive.

Despite the emotional and psychological impact being felt by East Anglia’s men, almost none have sought help or advice, with 91% admitting they had not.
