05 Nov Open Art Exhibition comes to Chelmsford Museum
Calling all artists! Chelmsford Museum and The Friends of Chelmsford Museum will be hosting its Open Art Competition this November.
Talented local artists can submit a maximum of two pieces to the Museum situated in Oaklands Park, Moulsham Street on Saturday 10 November between 10am and 4pm.
Creatives will have the opportunity to see their art displayed on the museum’s gallery walls between 24 November and 13 January 2019.
Successful Artists will be invited to a private view of the exhibition opened by Internationally renowned artist and sculptor John Double Day.
Art work to be submitted for the exhibition must be original, 2D, no bigger than 90cm by 90cm and must be securely framed and fitted by the artist using mirror plates. Entry to the museum is free and is open Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm (including Bank Holidays), Fridays closed during term time but open 10am to 5pm during school holidays and Sundays 1pm to 4pm.
