New relationships struck up at the Essex Business Network Group Valentine’s Day meet up

11 Feb New relationships struck up at the Essex Business Network Group Valentine’s Day meet up

More than 230 local business leaders have taken part in a special Valentine’s Day event hosted by The Essex Business Network Group.

The event, held on Friday 8 February 2019 at the Metropolitan Police Sports Club in Chigwell, was supported by Haslers Chartered Accountants and West Essex Life Magazine and gave attendees the chance to meet and network with like-minded professionals.

The free networking lunch, which takes place on the second Friday of each month, was only launched in 2018, but it has proved a great success, providing people with a space to network with their peers in a relaxed and friendly environment.

The latest event was complete with a romantic atmosphere, which certainly helped to kick start a number of new relationships between local businesses.

Jon O’Shea, Chairman at Haslers, said: “Love was truly in the air at the latest meeting of the Essex Business Network Group and we had our highest number of guests yet to attend one of these meetings.

“This group continues to go from strength to strength as word of mouth spreads about these events and their usefulness to members of the local business community.

“We have high hopes for the future success of this and are delighted to keep supporting it throughout 2019.”

The next meeting of the Essex Business Network Group is due to take place on Friday 8 March 2019 from 12.30pm at Metropolitan Police Sports Club Chigwell, High Road, Chigwell.
