23 Oct Local firm to host Masquerade Charity Summer Ball to benefit mental health charity

Durden & Hunt International have this week announced that in 2020 they will be holding a summer ball in Essex with all profit going to Mind charity.

For more than over 60 years Mind has worked to improve the lives of people that experience mental health problems.

Through public campaigns, government lobbying and more than 1,000 services Mind support over 513,000 people across England and Wales. Their services include supported housing, crisis helplines, drop-in centre’s, employment and training schemes, counselling and befriending.

The purpose of the Durden & Hunt charity ball is to raise money for Mind charity to support with their ongoing fantastic work across the UK. With all profits going to the charity, Durden & Hunt also hope to use the event to raise awareness for those suffering from mental health issues, helping those effected to understand that charities like Mind are out there and can help to stop people suffering in silence.

The summer charity ball will he held on Friday 3rd July 2020 and be hosted at the Chigwell Marquees in Essex which holds up to 800 people.

Features of the event for those that attend will include a seated three course meal with wine or soft drink, red carpet, masquerade theme, celebrity guests, guest speakers, live singers/band, DJ, photo booth, bar and raffle prizes which include a luxury holiday to Dubai (donated by Durden & Hunt).

Profits from ticket sales, sponsorship, raffle prizes and the bar spend will go towards the fund being raised for Mind.
