Local charity EACH to show Bohemian Rhapsody under the stars at Audley End

09 May Local charity EACH to show Bohemian Rhapsody under the stars at Audley End

The critically acclaimed Bohemian Rhapsody will be the feature film when East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) brings its open air cinema experience to Audley End.

The event on Saturday, 21 September promises to be full of fun, with a live band to entertain until the film begins. In addition there will be hot food and drinks, or guests are welcome to take a picnic.

Bronte Graver, EACH Cambridgeshire Community Fundraiser, said: “Do you want to break free to a kind of magic place? Come along and we will rock you there, with a fantastic night of music, laughter and entertainment.

“We held five open air cinema events across Cambridgeshire and West Essex last year, together raising over £58,000 towards the care of children and young people with life-threatening conditions, and support of their families, and we can’t wait to bring this experience to Audley End in September.”

Bohemian Rhapsody is a biographical film about Queen’s Freddie Mercury, who is played by Rami Malek. It was released in October last year, became a major box office success and recently picked up four Oscar awards.

Gates will open at 5.30pm. The 12A film, two hours and 14 minutes, will start at sundown around 7.15pm. There will be no reserved seating, so guests are advised to take blankets and collapsible chairs for full comfort.

Standard tickets are £13. There are 50 VIP tickets available for £20 each. They include a deckchair and the best views. To book tickets and for more information about both the event and what EACH does for children, young people and families, visit www.each.org.uk/cinema.
