The winners at this year’s event were Woodford Green Athletics Club. Jon O’Shea, Chairman of Haslers Chartered Accountants, said: “Congratulations to Woodford Green Athletics Club and all the other teams that took part, we had a fantastic time testing our wits against one another, which ensured a healthy competition.

“Much thanks has to go those businesses who either donated gifts or sponsored this event, I know it is often said, but this event would not have been possible without them. A special thanks also to BEN’S MAGIC who entertained guests on the night.

Previous years charity quizzes have led to donations to Streets2Homes, Frank Charles Give a Gift Appeal, ELHAP, Haven Hospices and the Dream Factory and have helped the Foundation raise more than £160,000 since it was founded nearly a decade ago.

“We hope that the money collected at this event will help a wide range of groups and individuals in the community,” added Jon.
