13 Apr Harlow is 70 celebrations will see Street Carnival hosted this summer
Harlow Council has today announced that a Street Carnival will take place on Sunday 23 July 2017 in the town as part of Harlow’s 70th birthday celebrations.
The Carnival, organised by Harlow Council, will start from The Stow at 12noon travelling along First Avenue and ending in the Town Park in time for the start of the popular Linkfest Music Festival being held at The Bandstand.
The theme for the Carnival is Harlow through the decades – from 1940s right up to the present day – and will include floats and walking groups. The Council will be inviting residents, voluntary groups, social groups and commercial businesses to take part, so if you would like to get involved start to think about how you could be part of this event .
