Hadleigh Old Fire Station is offering visitors the chance to meet local artists and experience the creative work that happens at the site this Bank Holiday Weekend.
Supported by Essex County Council’s ‘Culture in Essex’ small grant scheme, a variety of events are set to take place, including a pop-up cinema, community choir, and artist-led workshops, as well as jazz and local history sessions.
The Culture in Essex grant supports arts and cultural activity across the county, with the aim of positively engaging and benefiting local people.
Kicking off the weekend on Friday, there will be the opportunity to take part in a circus skills workshops for children aged 3 -11, followed by a pop-up cinema in the evening. All the activities are free and open to all ages.
Hadleigh Old Fire Station is located on High Street, Hadleigh, Essex SS7 2PA
The activities run from Friday 24 August – Monday 27 August 2018, 10am until 5pm.
