A fresh new fast food concept is about to open in London and the hero ingredient is none other than the chip! ChipNation will open on Great Windmill Street W1 17th September and will celebrate one of the nation’s favourite things to eat; chips, which will be hand cut and combined with mouth-watering toppings.
The brainchild of food whiz kids, Neha and Vishal Madhu, until now the husband and wife duo have remained on the distribution side of food with the creation of Innovative Bites, which is one the largest confectionery distribution houses in Europe. Building on their ability to spot a gap in the market, Neha and Vishal quickly ascertained that the nation’s favourite food, Chips is currently underserviced and so ChipNation was born, providing a Gourmet Chip Street Food Experience.
Freshly prepared to order by a team of experienced frying masters, at ChipNation each serving will be fried in vegetable oil for four minutes to cook the potato from inside and then fried again for two minutes to create the perfectly crispy shell and the ultimate chip crunch and simply served plain or with a vast range of seasoning and sauces.
With the focus being all about the chip (obviously!) you can choose from a large variety of sauces and seasonings to elevate your chip to another level. Guests can choose from 10 seasonings such as Cajun Spice or the zesty Peri Peri seasoning, 40 mouth-watering sauces including Sticky Korean BBQ, Smokey Baconaise or to test the limits, the Deadly Hot Chilli. Guests can also choose from 6 toppings including vegan cheese, vegan bacon bits, and the all-time favourite: fried onions. Depending on how you want your ultimate chips then eat in or take away and as the saying goes … ‘Dunk, Eat, Repeat’.
Key to a great chip is a great potato and ChipNation have the best, here only Dutch clay soil potatoes will be used, sourced directly from Dutch farmers and delivered daily. To complete the process every chip is double hand fried ensuring a perfect chip time and again.
Keen to offer a global experience, ChipNation will also take the humble chip beyond the realms of potatoes. Also available will be Halloumi and Sweet Potato chips which will add to the gourmet experience that ChipNation promises to deliver.
