Misha Kovar, who is Austrian, graduated from the renowned Vienna Conservatory with a concentration in Voice, Acting and Dance. During her studies she won the role of Sarah in the classic musical “Dance Of The Vampires“ at the RaimundTheater in Wien.

Her next engagement took to her to GermanyBremen and Cologne, where she portrayed the leading roles Lisa and Lucy in “Jekyll & Hyde”. Misha played the title role in “Evita” over eight years in the State Theatersof Luebeck, Dresden, Trier and Wiesbaden and portrayed leading roles in “Phantasma”, “The Ring”, “SnoWhite”, “Divas”. Rock Legend Brian May of the cult band “QUEEN”, personally chose Misha for the role of Ozzy in the German Premiere of “We Will Rock You”.

Soon after Tyvie Thurman, the daughter of Ray Charles discovered Misha’s talent, brought her to the USA, where she was offered a contract with the “Island Def Jam Music Group” (LA Reid & Jay Z). There she produced an album with R&B star Lumidee.† (Group: T.KAY.OH) Misha has performed in countless galas and events, acted on the ZDF Crime Drama”Schimanski” opposite Goetz George, sang at the ZDF New Years Gala at the Brandenburg Gate mit Musical Rocks, and sang in Miss Earth Competition Live before 200 Million television viewers.

She also sang mit “QUEEN” live in concert at the Rhein EnergieStadium in Cologne. In 2019 she assumed the starring role in the musical „Die Paepstin” (Pope Joan) in Fuessen. Electrifying audiences there with her performance of “Johanna”, she was then asked to portray Empress Elisabeth in “Ludwig 2”.

As a solo artist she’s aready released three singles in the German Pop/ Hit-Parade. Her new single “Queen of the Night” currently storms the Hit-Parade charts, landing in first place on the Download charts for Germany, Austria and the Netherlands.
