Essex’s BIGGEST Choir Festival is coming to Chelmsford

17 Apr Essex’s BIGGEST Choir Festival is coming to Chelmsford

On 2nd May 2018 the BIG Sing Gospel Choir will be hosting their annual festival at the Civic Theatre in Chelmsford for the sixth year running.

Over 500 BIG singers will join together for a day of uplifting workshops from David Grant, current BBC presenter for The One Show and Songs of Praise. Meanwhile, every Big SING Choir will be taking it in turns to perform a Motown anthem on stage before the big finale, where 500 voices will sing as one.

Gemma & Howard Francis and Jonathan Rattenbury, founders of ‘The BIG Sing’, started this choir with a dream of uniting communities through music. Their song has successfully spread across the country as The BIG Sing continues to witness incredible enthusiasm and creativity from it’s ever growing number of passionate members. This has led The BIG Sing to start separate classes for babies, children and teenagers.

Helping many of its members through difficult times and loneliness, The BIG Sing has no plans to slow down. As winners of BBC’s Songs of Praise and a Pride of Essex award last year, this choir is set for stardom.

Tickets are now available for members of the public to come and watch the show.
