Hilarious Essex superstar Russell Kane is to host a Comedy Night fundraiser for Haven House Children’s Hospice on Tuesday 18 April at the Union Chapel in Islington.

The multi-award winning comedian, presenter, actor, author and scriptwriter will be entertaining the crowds and introducing a stellar line-up of comedians including Elliot Steel, Kelly Convey plus a surprise special guest headliner.

Russell, known for his lively appearances on BBC1’s Live At Apollo, BBC3’s Unzipped, ITV’s Celebrity Juice, lives in Woodford Green, Essex.

Mike Palfreman, Chief Executive of Haven House, said: “We are thrilled that Russell Kane is hosting our first ever Comedy Night.

“When we saw him co-present last year’s Children in Need Appeal with our ambassador Rochelle Humes we knew that he would be the perfect person to host an evening of comedy for us.
“This is another brand new exciting Haven House event set in the beautifully decorated Union Chapel venue in Islington with talent who are at the top of their game.

“Tickets are likely to sell fast and we still have a surprise special guest headliner to announce in the next few weeks.
“The night will not only raise laughs but also much needed funds for our hospice.”
