Children’s hospice urges locals to get involved for National Volunteering Week

05 Jun Children’s hospice urges locals to get involved for National Volunteering Week

Haven House Children’s Hospice is urging for residents in West Essex to get involved with its work as part of National Volunteering Week.

The charity is highlighting all the different ways people can give their time to Haven House which can help the hospice support more life-limited children and their families in the local area.

Andrea Thorogood of Haven House said “The volunteering opportunities are endless and by giving your time; even a couple of hours a month; you can help make a big difference to life-limited children and their families.”

Throughout Volunteers’ Week, which runs until 12 June, volunteers from Insight Investment and more than 50 from Citi will help get Haven House’s grounds ready for its Summer Fair on 2 July.
