Essex TV decided to take some Curry Classes, join us as the talented Sandhya Oza demonstrates two easy dishes for us.

 

INGREDIENTS & Instructions
Two very simple recipes anyone can attempt. Similar ingredients used just goes to show it can be made veg or non veg. Potato, chicken or Indian paneer can be used.
Jeera aloo/cumin flavoured baby potatoes
Boiled baby potatoes 8-10
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Oil as needed
Salt
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Coriander leaves as much or as little as you like
Gram flour upto 1 tsp optional
Green chillies chopped 1-2
Lemon a good squeeze
Kasoori methi optional 1/2 tsp

 

Heat oil in a pan, add in the cumin, chillies and toss in the potato. Add the turmeric powder, salt and let it coat. Sprinkle the gram flour and coriander leaves. 2-4 minutes. See it come together and enjoy the aroma. Take the kasoori methi in the palm of your hand and work it with your finger tips before sprinkling it over the potatoes. Turn it off and add in that squeeze of lemon.
Relish!
You can add garam masala before the gram flour if you like as its all about individual taste.

Bite size chicken breast pieces -10-12 or as required
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Oil as needed
Salt
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Coriander leaves as much or as little as you like
Green chillies chopped 1-2
Lemon a good squeeze
Kasoori methi optional 1/2 tsp
Heat oil in a pan, add in the cumin, chillies and toss in the chicken. Add the turmeric powder, salt and let it coat. Sprinkle the coriander leaves.
Take the kasoori methi in the palm of your hand and work it with your finger tips before sprinkling it over the chicken. Cook till done. Turn it off and add in that squeeze of lemon.
Relish!
